Halibut, a lean fish, possesses a subtly sweet and mild flavor. It boasts a firmer texture than cod yet maintains a delicate fishiness, allowing it to readily absorb various flavors. Halibut can be prepared through methods such as pan-searing, baking, grilling, slow-roasting, and more.


Halibut is low in saturated fat and sodium, and is a very good source of protein, niacin, phosphorus, and selenium.
