Black Sea Bass are caught by our co-op fishermen from late Spring to early Fall by using small-scale dragger nets or pots (similar to lobster pots). 


Black Sea Bass have a mild, fresh, somewhat delicate flavor. The texture is tender but firm. Black Sea Bass is also a big winner in Asian-inspired dishes and pairs well with the flavors of lemongrass, cilantro, and ginger.

  • As Chatham Harvesters Coop we are prioritizing our seafood availabilty and access to our members. We also make many of our products available to the public at our farmers markets on a first come first serve basis.
